1. Data We Collect
We collect: name, phone number, email, CNIC (where required), medical history, chat messages with doctors, subscription and payment information, and optional health records you enter in the app.
2. How We Use Data
Your data is used only to:
- Connect you with licensed doctors for consultation
- Process subscription payments
- Provide app features (chat, health records, optional Google Drive backup)
- Improve platform services and comply with legal requirements
3. Data Storage & Security
Patient data is stored using industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest where applicable. Health records may be stored on your device, in secure cloud storage (last 30 days for app features), and optionally in your own Google Drive if you enable backup. Only your assigned doctor and authorized CareBite staff can access consultation-related data needed to operate the service.
4. Data Sharing
We do NOT sell your data. We only share data with:
- The doctor you are consulting
- Payment gateway providers for processing transactions
- Legal authorities if required by law
5. Google Drive (Optional)
If you enable backup, CareBite requests permission to create and update a backup file in your Google Drive. We do not access other files in your Drive. You can disconnect backup at any time from your profile.
6. Your Rights
You can request to view, update, or delete your data by emailing appdrlive@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by applicable law.
7. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of CareBite after changes means you accept the updated policy.
